Launch of a Training Program for Green Jobs in Tunisia
A training program dedicated to new green jobs, supported by the "THAMM Plus" program and jointly backed by Berlin and Brussels, has been launched this week in Tunis. A total of 275 Tunisian professionals from the electricity and electronics sectors are participating in this program.

According to an official statement from the German Embassy in Tunisia, the objective of the program is to prepare participants for the changing job market. The program includes specialized sessions on:
- Photovoltaic solar energy
- Carbon footprint calculation
- Energy efficiency in buildings and services These sessions aim to open up employment opportunities in both Tunisia and Germany.

Extension of the "THAMM" Initiative
The "THAMM Plus" program is an extension of the regional "THAMM" initiative, which focuses on the secure and legal mobility of Tunisian, Moroccan, and Egyptian technicians to Germany, Italy, and France.
