Moroccan Startup Enakl Secures $2.3 Million in Seed Funding
The Moroccan startup Enakl has announced the closure of a $2.3 million Seed funding round, finalized in late December 2025. This funding follows an initial raise of $1.4 million in 2024, bringing the total capital mobilized by the company since its creation in 2022 to approximately $3.7 million, according to EcoActu.
Accelerating Deployment of Intelligent Mobility Solutions
According to the same source, this new funding round is expected to enable Enakl to accelerate the deployment of its intelligent collective mobility solutions to businesses, public actors, and end-users, while preparing for the launch of its SaaS offering. The funding brings together several Moroccan investors, including Azur Innovation Fund, Witamax, and MFounders, as well as the reinvestment of two historical partners: Catalyst Fund and Digital Africa.
Addressing Urban Mobility Challenges
The founders of Enakl designed their solution to address major challenges faced by modern cities, including urban congestion, access to transportation, and the decarbonization of home-to-work commutes. The startup relies on proprietary technology that enables the design, deployment, and management of flexible and optimized public transportation networks in real-time, following approximately 18 months of research and development. In 2025, the company won a first public pilot market with the Casablanca-Settat Region.
Future Prospects
With this new funding, Enakl is poised to further develop its innovative mobility solutions, expanding its reach and impact in the Moroccan market and beyond. As the company continues to grow and evolve, it is likely to play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of urban mobility in the region.
