Enactus Tunisia, Pluxee Tunisia, and Stop Hunger Foundation Announce Strategic Partnership to Empower Women and Young People
Enactus Tunisia, Pluxee Tunisia, and the Stop Hunger Foundation have announced a strategic partnership to deploy the "EmpowerHer" program in Tunisia, an initiative dedicated to the economic empowerment of women and young people from vulnerable communities facing economic precariousness and food insecurity.
Partnership Objectives
This collaboration is part of a common approach to sustainable development and social impact, mobilizing the expertise and resources of the three organizations to strengthen economic inclusion, entrepreneurship, and access to opportunities for the most vulnerable populations.
Program Implementation
As part of this partnership, the EmpowerHer program will be implemented in 2026 in the Greater Tunis region. It will offer a comprehensive support pathway combining entrepreneurial education, mentorship, digital skills development, and business development, as well as personalized follow-up to promote the creation of income-generating activities and sustainable economic integration of beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries and Impact
The program will directly benefit around 20 young people aged 18 to 35, with at least 80% of them being women, while indirectly impacting over 150 members of the local community through awareness-raising, training, and economic development actions. Beyond strengthening individual capacities, this initiative aims to contribute to the launch of around 20 entrepreneurial projects, create direct and indirect jobs, and improve the living conditions of vulnerable families, thus contributing to the economic resilience of local communities.
Partnership Goals
Through this partnership, the Stop Hunger Foundation is pursuing its international mission to combat hunger and food insecurity by investing in sustainable solutions that promote the economic autonomy of fragile populations, particularly women, recognized as essential actors in social and economic development. Pluxee Tunisia will mobilize its employees through volunteer actions, mentorship, and expertise sharing, illustrating its commitment to inclusive growth and positive impact within the communities where the company operates.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a reference actor in student entrepreneurship and social innovation in Tunisia, Enactus Tunisia will ensure the design, coordination, and implementation of the program, relying on its 16-year experience in supporting young people and developing projects with social and economic impact.
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
This partnership reflects the common will of the three organizations to contribute concretely to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to poverty eradication, gender equality, decent work, and inclusive economic growth.
