Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry Organizes Economic Mission to South Africa

In collaboration with the Tunisian Embassy in Pretoria, the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS) is organizing an economic mission to South Africa, targeting Johannesburg and Durban, from October 21 to 26, 2025.
Objective:
The mission aims to open up new commercial horizons for Tunisia and strengthen economic ties between the two countries, a joint bet on the future carried by the CCIS and the embassy.
Focus Sectors:
This initiative is specifically designed to catalyze development and partnership opportunities for businesses operating in key sectors such as:
- Agricultural and food products (including olive oil, dates, and pasta)
- Agricultural fertilizers
- Building materials
- Automotive components
- Energy
- Technology
- Artisanal industries
- Tourism
- Medical and paramedical products
- Chemical products
Program Highlights:
At the heart of the program are targeted meetings, combining visits and strategic appointments in South Africa's main economic hubs, Johannesburg and Durban.
Johannesburg (October 21-22):
The mission will begin in Johannesburg with direct institutional exchanges with South African ministry officials responsible for Trade, Industry, Competition, and Agriculture. Parallel to this, targeted B2B meetings will be organized with local businesses, complemented by visits to strategic sites and relevant companies, to optimize business opportunities.
Durban (October 23-25):
The delegation will then head to Durban to participate in the "Kwazulu-Natal Investment Conference", a major annual event that brings together over 1000 businesses from Africa and beyond. A dedicated exhibition space will be allocated to Tunisian products to enhance their visibility and multiply business contacts. The program in Durban will also include site visits and additional B2B meetings, aiming to establish solid ties with key regional partners.
