Does Artificial Intelligence Have a Place in Our Children's Education?

A bilingual artificial intelligence designed to tutor children, called ASI, has been made available in the United Arab Emirates. This AI is available 24/7 and helps children solve problems.

This tool tests learners and asks them questions related to the subject they need help with.

Developed by the UAE Ministry of Education in partnership with ASI, a startup specializing in educational technology, this AI has been adapted to fit the country's culture and adapt to each student's needs.

ASI's CEO, Quddus Pativada, stated: "We've developed something called PLM (personalized language models), so over time, we can see how a student learns best, adapting to their strengths and weaknesses."

Raghad Aljughaiman, advisor to the UAE Minister of Education, added: "This will help us improve the quality of education, equity, and inclusion. Generative AI is already transforming the way our students learn. It's essential that we stay relevant in this field."
