Potcast Productions Secures Seed Funding to Boost Content Production, Marketing, and New Series Development
Potcast Productions has secured seed funding to enhance its content production capabilities, intensify marketing efforts, and accelerate the development of new series.
Launched in 2020 by Islam Adel, Potcast Productions is an Egyptian-based podcast production company.
The company creates 15 diversified podcast programs tailored to different target audiences and has accumulated seven million listens and over 600,000 hours of viewing in just six months.
The seed funding comes from Innovative Media Productions (IMP), the media company behind the Egyptian TV show Shark Tank, which made its first investment in Potcast Productions last April. The investment also includes renowned investor Ahmed Tarek Khalil.
The funds will be used to improve the startup's content production capabilities, intensify marketing efforts, and accelerate the development of new high-quality podcast series catering to a diverse and growing audience.
This funding round will also support the production of high-quality audio experiences, both online and offline, further solidifying Potcast's position as a leader in audio content production.
