Egyptian Digital Savings Startup Menthum Partners with CI Capital Asset Management to Launch USD Fixed Income Fund
Menthum, an Egyptian digital savings startup, has partnered with CI Capital Asset Management to launch a USD fixed income fund, aiming to improve the country's savings and investment landscape.
Founded in November 2022 by Himanshu Shrimali and Ismail Sarhank, Menthum is a platform serving both B2B and B2C clients. It offers individuals and businesses an innovative way to invest in secure Treasury bills (T-bills) through a money market fund.
After securing an undisclosed pre-seed funding in July 2023, Menthum has now partnered with CI Asset Management to launch the "Menthum USD Fixed Income Fund", a unique USD fixed income fund.
This innovative mutual fund offers individuals and businesses a safe, high-yield, and liquid savings opportunity in USD. It is designed to provide stable returns by investing in high-quality, low-risk fixed-income securities, including USD-denominated Treasury bills and Egyptian government-issued eurobonds.
