15 Egyptian Tech Startups Unveil Innovations at Invest-IT Program Launch
Fifteen Egyptian tech startups have showcased their innovations at the launch of the first edition of the national Invest-IT program. This program is led by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), affiliated with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and aims to accelerate the investment readiness of local tech startups.
Program Overview
Implemented in collaboration with Flat6Labs, one of the leading venture capital funds in the MENA region specializing in seed and early-stage investments, the Invest-IT program is designed for startups in the seed and pre-Series A phases. Its objective is to enable them to raise funds, expand their operations, and drive sustainable economic growth through innovation.
Targeted Entrepreneurs
The program targets entrepreneurs from various Egyptian governorates and is part of a broader strategy to stimulate innovation from universities, strengthen digital innovation hubs across the country (Creativa), develop future digital skills, and facilitate access to financing through strategic partnerships with the private sector.
First Cohort
The first cohort consists of eight seed-stage startups:
- The White Guard: Cybersecurity platform
- Dragify: AI-based financial services
- HNDL: Fleet management
- Turuq: Logistics services
- Skoolix: E-learning solutions
- KENNAH: Proptech
- Atoms AI: AI-powered semiconductor inspection
- PhotonSmart: Smart home device manufacturing
Pre-Series A Group
The pre-Series A group comprises seven startups with more advanced business models:
- Valify: AI-powered digital identity verification
- Mrkoon: Waste management
- Qubefyn: AI-powered data intelligence
- Venu: Space reservation and management
- Amanleek: Insurtech
- LyRise: AI solutions for enterprises
- Hoopoe Digital: Geolocated digital services
