"The mastery of digital tools is necessary in our era," declared Minister Nizar Ben Neji.

Phase 1: Deploying 5,000 km of Fiber Optic Cables

The first phase of the project will deploy nearly 5,000 km of additional fiber optic cables to connect schools to the network. In the second phase, these schools will be connected to nearby public services, as indicated by Minister Nizar Ben Neji.

Enhancing Education through Technology

This project will enable significant advancements in the education system and methods, better integrating technological tools. For example, it will:

  • Develop telecommunications infrastructure by expanding the high-speed fiber optic network by approximately 10%
  • Improve internet service quality

By connecting schools to the fiber optic network, the Edunet10 project will pave the way for a more digitalized and efficient education system, aligning with the country's digital strategy 2025.
