Dräxlmaier Celebrates 50 Years in Tunisia with €100 Million Investment in Research and Innovation Center
During a ceremony held on September 17, the Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy highlighted the strategic impact of this investment, which is expected to create 1,000 jobs for engineers and young graduates. This will reinforce Tunisia's competitiveness in the electric vehicle sector.
With its five existing production units already employing nearly 10,000 people, Dräxlmaier is further consolidating its role in Tunisia's industrial landscape following this new investment.
On the same occasion, the Minister praised local skills and the quality of the country's infrastructure, which attract major global automotive players and renowned international companies.
She also emphasized that this partnership plays a crucial role in encouraging industrial actors to invest in technological sectors, particularly electric vehicles.
Note: The investment amount is approximately €100 million, considering the exchange rate of 1 EUR = 3.2 TND (Tunisian dinars).
