NBA Africa Unveils Selection of 10 Startups from 7 African Countries

NBA Africa has announced the selection of 10 startups from 7 African countries, ready to present their products to a panel of global industry leaders on September 25, marking the conclusion of the Triple-Double accelerator program.

In April, NBA Africa launched a continent-based accelerator program focused on African startups in the early stages of development.

Powered by technology incubator ALX Ventures, this accelerator targets African startups developing solutions in event management and ticketing, youth development, AI, and digital marketing in the sports and entertainment sectors.

Ten African startups were selected for the program and paired with mentors from NBA Africa, ALX, and other stakeholders to receive guidance on product development, business growth, and market strategy.

On September 25, these startups will present their projects at the NBA headquarters in New York, where a jury will select four winners to receive financial support, mentorship, and access to workshops and development programs.

Below is the list of selected startups:

  6. Gara from Côte d'Ivoire
