Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undergoes Restructuring of Senior Leadership
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has undergone a reshuffle of its senior leadership teams. Four seasoned career diplomats, Slim Ghariani, Riadh Dridi, Slah Salhi, and Mohamed Kahloun, have been appointed to key positions. Ghariani will be in charge of relations with Asian and Oceanian countries, Dridi will focus on the Americas, Salhi will oversee migration issues and Tunisians abroad, while Kahloun will ensure internal control.
These appointments demonstrate Tunisia's willingness to strengthen its presence on the international stage and optimize the management of its diplomatic relations, particularly in terms of migration and regional cooperation.
This renewal comes at a time when Tunisia is seeking to consolidate its partnerships and address the complex challenges of globalization. The new directors general will bring their expertise to tackle these challenges and promote Tunisia's interests abroad. Their missions will include developing new economic relationships, strengthening security cooperation, and defending the rights of Tunisians living abroad.
