Good News for the Tunisian Diaspora
The Consulate General of Tunisia in Paris has announced that Tunisian nationals residing abroad, who wish to renew their passports during their vacation, can now do so on Tunisian ships operated by the Tunisian Navigation Company (CTN) Tanit and Carthage.
Technical teams from the Ministry of the Interior will receive applications, along with the necessary documents, and individuals can collect their passport receipts from the customs offices at the ports of La Goulette and Zarzis.
This initiative aims to facilitate administrative services for these citizens and provides an additional reason to return to the country on board CTN ships.
Required Documents:
- A completed application form for a machine-readable ordinary passport, signed in the designated area.
- A copy of the national identity card, with the original presented or a birth certificate for minors.
- 4 photos with the following characteristics: white background and 3.5/4.5 cm format.
- A school certificate for students.
- Authorization from the guardian for minors, accompanied by a copy of their national identity card.
- A receipt for payment of the fiscal stamp duty.
- The old passport.
- A request on plain paper in case the individual wishes to keep their old passport.

This new service is expected to simplify the administrative process for Tunisian nationals living abroad, making it easier for them to renew their passports during their vacation.
