Kenya Abolishes Visa Requirements for African and Caribbean Nationals

Kenya has announced the abolition of visa requirements for nationals from all African countries and most Caribbean nations, according to local media reports citing the Kenyan government. From now on, these travelers will no longer need an electronic travel authorization (ETA) or pay visa fees.

African visitors will be allowed to stay for up to two months, while citizens of the East African Community (EAC) will benefit from an extended stay of six months, in line with regional free movement agreements.

This measure is part of the government's strategy to boost tourism and strengthen regional integration. President William Ruto has emphasized that this simplification of formalities should facilitate travel and strengthen ties between Kenya, Africa, and the Caribbean.
