France's Deeptech Startup Sector Continues to Thrive in 2026

The French deeptech startup sector is experiencing significant growth in 2026. The international platform F6S, specializing in tracking and promoting innovative young companies, has released its selection of the 15 most promising startups. These companies, active in fields ranging from artificial intelligence to renewable energy, demonstrate the vitality and creativity of the European technological ecosystem.

Notable Startups

Among them, Mobility-Metrix, based in Aubagne, stands out with its mobility intelligence platform, capable of analyzing and managing all types of transportation, from bicycles to public transportation. In Marseille, Guepard offers a solution to simplify and automate database management. In Toulouse, Agri Safe (ranked 3rd), founded by Tunisian Mohamed Mekki Maalej, develops an intelligent irrigation system for agricultural farms, allowing for optimized water and fertilizer use.

Artificial Intelligence and Renewable Energy

The F6S ranking also highlights startups specializing in artificial intelligence and synthetic data, such as Narraitio and UncovAI, as well as in renewable energy with Sweetch Energy and HYCCO, which develop solutions based on osmosis energy and ultra-light hydrogen fuel cells for aviation, respectively.

Innovative Solutions

Also featured in the ranking is Monsapo, a Tunisian startup based in Paris, ranked 9th. It revolutionizes waste management with its Sapocircle machine, which transforms used cooking oil into eco-friendly cleaning products on-site. This innovation reduces costs, ensures regulatory compliance, and limits environmental impact. "Customers can save over 50% on their cleaning supplies with a return on investment in just 18 months. With remote monitoring and real-time data, Monsapo helps businesses make sustainable decisions, positioning itself as a major player in green deeptech," says the startup.

Cutting-Edge Technologies

The other startups on the list explore cutting-edge technologies in various fields, ranging from biotechnology and medicine (Mistral AI, Enterome, Gensight Biologics) to teleoperated mobility (Unlimited Driving Corporation) or clean energy production (Sweetch Energy).
