Korbous: A Thermal Station with Untapped Potential
Perched on the heights of Cap Bon, Korbous is one of the oldest thermal stations in Tunisia, renowned for centuries for its hot water springs with therapeutic properties. A region blessed by nature, between the sea and lush green hills, which has everything to be a reference destination — and yet struggles to take off.
On April 8, the Minister of Tourism visited the site to assess the situation. Tourist projects are at a standstill, paralyzed by legal and land-related blockages, a region with intact but unexploited potential. On site, alongside the Governor of Nabeul and concerned investors, the message was clear: identify blockages, coordinate efforts, and unblock without delay. For the advantages are there: thermal springs, preserved coastline, ideal setting for wellness tourism and ecotourism. Riches that have been waiting for too long to be valued. The signal is strong. Investors are now waiting for actions.
