Visa Applicants for the Netherlands Must Show Patience

Individuals seeking to obtain a visa for the Netherlands are now required to exercise patience. The processing of applications is experiencing unusual delays, which can last up to 30 days or even 45 days in certain cases, according to an official statement.

These extended delays are due to technical issues encountered at the competent authorities in The Hague, where all applications are centralized. The Netherlands Embassy in Tunisia has clarified that it cannot accelerate the process or provide updated information on ongoing files, as it does not intervene in their processing.

In the meantime, applicants can track the progress of their file using the Track & Trace online system. The embassy recommends not contacting them regarding this matter, highlighting that the dysfunction is independent of their will.

The Dutch authorities assure that they are actively working to resolve this issue and appeal to the understanding and patience of the concerned public.
