Free Access to Tunisian Heritage Sites and Museums
The Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) announces that this Thursday, September 4, 2025, access to all sites, monuments, and museums under its management will be exceptionally free.
Objective of the Initiative
This initiative aims to encourage the discovery and valorization of Tunisia's rich heritage among all visitors. The free access applies to all Tunisian citizens as well as foreign residents in Tunisia, upon presentation of a national identity card or a residence permit.
Regular Free Entry Policy
Additionally, the AMVPPC reminds that free entry is regularly applied in several well-defined cases:
- The first Sunday of each month
- International Day for Monuments and Sites on April 18
- International Museum Day on May 18
- National holidays

Visitors can consult the complete list of concerned sites, museums, and monuments via the Agency's official website or through a document made available online.
