Before launching Kaco, Mohamed Ali Salmi co-founded Looh, a startup operating in Tunisia and Algeria, dedicated to combating deforestation by promising to plant 1,000 trees for every product sold. Innovative Lithium Battery Technology

Kaco stands out with its lithium battery technology, offering a 10-year lifespan at a price of 1,500 DT, three times cheaper than lead-acid batteries, with a 5-year warranty.

Looking ahead, Kaco plans to expand its product range by developing new forms of mobility, such as hybrid vehicles between motorcycles and cars, to reach a broader audience. In partnership with UGFS, Kaco is also focusing on rapid charging technologies.

The company also offers training programs and is working to strengthen ties between Tunisia and Algeria, with battery production in Tunisia and motorcycle assembly in Algeria to serve the African market. To date, nearly 400 pre-orders have been recorded.
