Cupra Unveils Its First-Ever SUV, Terramar, in Barcelona
Today, June 19, 2025, Cupra, the automotive brand, launched its first-ever SUV, Terramar, at an event in the city where the brand was born. This launch marks Cupra's entry into the highly competitive compact SUV segment, offering a model that boasts assertive design, advanced technologies, and ecological commitment."

Designed in Barcelona and assembled at the Győr plant in Hungary, Terramar embodies the European vision of Cupra. Its lines are inspired by natural elements, with dynamic curves reminiscent of waves. Inside, the cabin prioritizes a fluid architecture, oriented towards the driver.
"The Terramar embodies our vision of bold mobility, turned towards the future and deeply rooted in our passion for the road," adds Anouar Ben Ammar. And to insist: "With a provocative, elegant, and resolutely sporty design, the Terramar leaves no one indifferent."
The signature lighting features the iconic Cupra triangle via Matrix LED Ultra technology, while the sound ambiance is ensured by Sennheiser with 12 speakers, offering an immersive experience.
Two finishes are available: Terramar and Terramar Sport, both integrating sustainable materials. The base model uses a 65% recycled fabric, while the Sport version opts for environmentally friendly vegan leather.
"We are tracing a new path, an electrifying, character-filled path," affirms Ben Ammar.
Cupra offers a wide range of unprecedented colors, such as Ford Blue, Cosmos Blue, or Night Void, and wheels up to 20 inches with bronze finishes, a visual signature of the brand.
In terms of technology, the Terramar boasts a head-up display, a 12.9-inch digital instrument cluster – the largest ever integrated into a Cupra model – and numerous driving assistance systems, such as a 360° camera and an intelligent parking assistant.
The first deliveries are scheduled for June 20. Prices in Tunisia start at 172,990 DZ TTC for the base version and 184,990 DZ TTC for the Sport version.
