For moral persons using the teledeclaration platform, the deadline for submitting the monthly declaration is set for May 20.
May 28: Declaration Deadline for Physical Persons and Others
Physical persons and those not required to declare online can submit their declarations until May 28 at the finance offices.
May 27: Annual Declaration for Service Providers and Industrial/Non-Commercial Activities
The deadline for submitting the annual declaration for service providers, industrial activities, and non-commercial professions (including those benefiting from the flat-rate regime) is May 27.
A Promising Month for Revenue
May is expected to bring in a substantial revenue. Last year, it totaled 2,937.7 billion dinars, and we predict it will exceed 3,000 billion dinars this year. This revenue is crucial for the state, which spends an average of 4,983,750 billion dinars per month, according to the 2024 finance law estimates. While we are still far from achieving balance, these revenues cover recurrent costs in dinars, such as salaries and a significant portion of management and intervention expenses. Let's not forget to add the principal debt repayment to the equation, as the cited figure only accounts for financial charges.
The Treasury's Response: Multiplying Market Outings
The Treasury is responding to these challenges by increasing its market outings, including treasury bonds, sovereign bonds, and syndicated credits in foreign currencies, in addition to the 7,000 billion dinars available through direct financing from the BCT.
