Tunisia and Austria to Strengthen Business Ties at September 29 Forum in Tunis

Tunisian and Austrian companies will convene in Tunis on Tuesday, September 29, for a bilateral business forum featuring one-on-one B2B meetings. The event is organized by Conect International, the Austrian Economic Office, and the Austrian Embassy in Tunis.

This initiative coincides with the official visit to Tunisia by Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, the Austrian Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism. The primary objective is to open new avenues for cooperation between Tunisian and Austrian operators through bilateral meetings and networking sessions.

€333 Million in Trade Exchanges in 2025

Commercial exchanges between the two countries reached approximately €333 million in 2025. This figure includes €245 million in Tunisian products exported to Austria, compared to just €88 million in Austrian exports to Tunisia. This data highlights a significant trade surplus in favor of Tunisia.

In response, the Austrian delegation aims to highlight specific sectoral priorities, including:
