National Recruitment Contest for 1,350 Teaching Assistants Announced
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced, in a decree dated November 4, 2025, and published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT), the opening of a national competition for the recruitment of 1,350 teaching assistants.
Contest Details
This competition, which is part of the reinforcement of the teaching corps and the promotion of university research, will take place starting from Monday, February 9, 2026, and subsequent days. It will concern teacher-researchers from the university corps, in accordance with the provisions of articles 25 to 28 (new) of decree No. 1825 of 1993 relating to the status of teacher-researchers.
Distribution of Available Positions
The distribution of available positions according to disciplines and institutions will be fixed by a decree from the Minister of Higher Education and published on the ministry's official website.
Application Process
Applications will be made exclusively online from December 8 to 22, 2025, at noon. Physical files must then be submitted to the concerned universities between December 25, 2025, and January 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Required Documents
Candidates must provide all their scientific work - publications, theses, books, courses, and directed work - in two paper copies and three digital copies.
