Tunisian Central Bank Launches Educational Video on New Check Platform
The Tunisian Central Bank has released an educational video today to explain the use of the new Tunichèque.tn platform, designed by the Interbank Telecompensation Company (SIBTEL) for banking operations using the new check formula. This formula features a QR code, expiration date, and account ceiling.
How to Benefit from the Platform
To take advantage of the platform's services, users must create a free account on the application or website Tunichèque.tn. Then, the check beneficiary must scan the QR code using the application and enter the desired amount. To verify the identity of the account holder, they will receive an SMS. After performing the usual transfer operation checks, the application will accept or reject the beneficiary's request based on the account balance, account type (operational or closed), and judicial situation (authorization to use checks).
