Designathon Scale'UX Demo Day: Unveiling the Future of UX/UI Design
The Designathon Scale'UX Demo Day, organized by EY Tunisia in partnership with Startup Village, Novation City, Medianet, and French Tech, marked the end of a rich and innovative journey in UX/UI design. This event highlighted the key trends in digital design to watch out for in 2025, such as minimalism and the Bento style, while showcasing concrete examples of excellence in user experience.
The Impact of Thoughtful UX: The Example of Save Your Wardrobe
Save Your Wardrobe perfectly illustrates the importance of a well-crafted user experience. Created in 2017 by two visionaries, the app aims to combat textile overconsumption by digitizing wardrobes using advanced technologies like artificial intelligence.
Users can photograph their clothes to categorize them automatically by brand, color, or size. Features like "AI Outfit Recommendation" then allow for personalized outfit creation, significantly increasing user engagement. The integration of minimalist design elements, such as simple and intuitive buttons, reflects the app's values of luxury and efficiency.
Poslik: A Solution for Restaurateurs
Among the startups presented, Poslik demonstrated how UX design can transform restaurant management. With a modern point-of-sale system coupled with AI-powered tools to predict sales and optimize inventory, Poslik offers solutions tailored to restaurateurs' needs. Innovations like the Kitchen Display System and QR code integration for customer orders have improved operational efficiency. In just four years, the company has equipped over 200 points of sale, generating a monthly revenue of 22,000 dinars.
A Designathon for Transformation
Since its launch on November 14, the Designathon Scale'UX has enabled five startups, including Poslik, to rethink and improve their user experience through workshops led by EY's UX experts. This event demonstrates the positive impact of user-centered design on business development and growth.
