Launched officially in June 2023, Egyptian startup Click Cash is a free cashback rewards app that offers real money on daily purchases, whether made in-store or online, through partnerships with numerous consumer goods brands and major retailers.
Addressing the Gap in Cashback Options
Co-founder and CEO Mohamed Said explained that the company was founded in response to high inflation, which has driven up prices of consumer goods and led consumers to reduce their daily purchases. He noted that consumers are particularly underserved by cashback options at the individual item level, especially in the consumables category, and also lack rewards systems in traditional commercial supermarkets.
Expanding Beyond Egypt
Currently operating exclusively in Egypt, the company plans to expand to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Japan, and other African countries.
