Tunisia Slips to 73rd in Global Passport Ranking, Morocco Climbs to 67th
According to the Henley Passport Index, Tunisia has dropped to 73rd place globally, allowing visa-free access to 67 destinations. It shares the same ranking as Armenia, Benin, and Cape Verde.
This ranking marks a decline for the Tunisian passport, which held the 71st position in July 2024 with 69 visa-free destinations accessible. This downward trend contrasts with Morocco's progress. In fact, as of last July, the Moroccan passport had already surpassed its Tunisian counterpart, offering visa-free access to 72 destinations and ranking 68th globally. Today, it climbs another spot to reach 67th position, solidifying its status as the most powerful passport in the Maghreb region.
