The Moroccan logistics startup Colis has closed a $300,000 pre-seed funding round, aiming to consolidate its national presence and expand into West Africa.
Founded in 2022 by Issam Darui, Colis facilitates the sending and receiving of packages for individuals and businesses from six European countries and has already delivered over 55,000 parcels in the past two years.
The startup, which had previously raised $50,000 from The Baobab Network and participated in the Plug and Play Morocco accelerator, has recently secured $300,000 in pre-seed funding from Witamax to expand its coverage across Morocco's five main regions. It also plans to expand into Africa, starting with West Africa.
