Inauguration of a New Carbon Fiber Unit in Monastir

A new industrial unit specializing in carbon fiber has been inaugurated in Monastir by the Italian company Novation Tech. The 4,400 m² factory, located in the Monastir-El Fejja Competitiveness Pole, is dedicated to transforming carbon fiber for the automotive industry, a strategic sector experiencing rapid growth worldwide.

According to the company, this site strengthens its presence between Europe and the Mediterranean basin, particularly between Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Portugal, and Tunisia, and marks a new phase of industrial development.

Why Monastir?

Novation Tech chose Monastir for its industrial fabric, particularly its textile tradition, as well as its strategic geographical location in the Mediterranean. The company considers this implantation a crucial step in its growth and innovation strategy in the field of composite materials.

Economic Benefits

This project is expected to contribute to the creation of qualified jobs in Tunisia and the development of a high-value-added industrial sector. It also participates in the strengthening of Italian investments in the country and the consolidation of economic relations between Tunis and Rome.
