Cepex Organizes Tunisian Participation in 50th Tripoli International Fair

The Cepex is organizing the Tunisian participation in the 50th edition of the Tripoli International Fair, taking place from May 15 to 21, 2024, in coordination with the Tunisian Embassy and the Tunisian Commercial Representation in Tripoli.

This event is part of the national program for Tunisian participation in foreign trade fairs for the year 2024.

This year, unlike previous editions, a grand opening ceremony titled "The Golden Edition" was held before the start of the fair's activities, presided over by the Libyan Minister of Economy and Trade.

The national pavilion welcomed several Libyan ministers who later visited the Tunisian exhibitors, expressing their admiration for the Tunisian exhibition and the quality of the products presented to visitors.

The national pavilion was also visited by the Tunisian Ambassador to Tripoli, Lassaad Laajili.

It's worth noting that the value of Tunisian exports to the Libyan market reached 2649 million Tunisian dinars in 2023, compared to 2463 million in 2022, representing an 8% increase. Portland cement represents the main Tunisian product exported to the southeastern neighbor, with an 8% share, followed by paper towels and paper diapers with a 6% share, while corn oil and its derivatives occupy the third place with a 4% share of total Tunisian exports to the Libyan market.
