Tunisair's Performance in the 2025 AirHelp Score Ranking
In 2025, the AirHelp Score ranking, which evaluates airlines based on punctuality, passenger satisfaction, and complaint handling, did not bring a smile to Tunisair's face. The Tunisian national carrier found itself in the lower ranks globally, with an overall score of 4.7/10, occupying 114th place out of 117 evaluated airlines. In other words, the plane takes off, but in terms of customer experience, there are still some turbulence to manage.
Comparison to 2024
Compared to 2024, Tunisair's overall score improved by about 1 point, from 3.6/10 to 4.7/10. This modest improvement is mainly due to a better opinion from passengers. However, despite this small leap, the company remains far behind the giants of the sky. To put things into perspective, Qatar Airways, which ranked first in the 2025 ranking, achieved an impressive 8.16/10. In other words, there is still a long way to go.
Why Tunisair Remains at the Bottom of the Ranking
Tunisair is not the absolute last in the ranking, which leaves a small glimmer of optimism. However, it is still among the top 5 worst-rated companies. Three main factors explain this situation:
- Insufficient Punctuality (3.4/10): Frequent delays weigh heavily on the overall score. The company still struggles to respect its schedules, and each minute of delay seems to cost dearly in this ranking.
- Complaint Handling (3.4/10): When passengers encounter a problem, responses are often slow or deemed unsatisfactory. As a result, the patience of travelers is put to the test.
- Mixed Passenger Satisfaction (7.3/10): While some aspects of the onboard service are appreciated, it is not enough to compensate for the operational shortcomings and frustrations related to delays or slow responses.
These factors contribute to Tunisair's low ranking in the 2025 AirHelp Score. Despite a slight improvement, the company needs to address these issues to provide a better customer experience and climb the ranks.
