The Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards 2024

The Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCITF) awarded its 2024 trophies on June 20, 2024, during its 50th-anniversary celebration. Six trophies were awarded, recognizing respectively the French entrepreneur in Tunisia, the Tunisian implantation in France, the best export performance, corporate social responsibility, the Tunisian startup implanted in France, and the French startup implanted in Tunisia. A special independent jury was constituted to review and deliberate on the received application files.

The winning companies for 2024 are:

Trophy for French Entrepreneur in Tunisia: Safran Tunisia (Aerospace)

This company, established in Tunisia for 20 years, positions itself as a catalyst for growth and development. Its success is attributed to its significant investment in industrial tools, adoption of innovative organizational and training practices, and positive impact on the local ecosystem.

Trophy for Tunisian Implantation in France: PEC (Plastic Electromécanique Company)

This group of companies operates in several innovative sectors. Since 2012, PEC has established three subsidiaries in France (Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Pays de la Loire).

Trophy for Best Export Performance: Sozais Engineering

This multidisciplinary technical studies office was awarded for its excellent export strategy. Sozais Engineering participates in numerous projects in France, offering a wide range of skills, including fluid engineering, electricity, and thermal studies.

Trophy for Corporate Social Responsibility: Orange Tunisia

As the first alternative convergent operator in the country, Orange Tunisia adopts a responsible, humane, and solidarity-based approach, using digital technology and innovation to contribute to the country's socioeconomic development.

Trophy for Tunisian Startup Implantation in France: Bako Motors

This young Tunisian startup, created in 2021, has distinguished itself by offering an innovative solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable transportation in Africa. Since 2022, Bako Motors has established a presence in France with the opening of Bako France, based in Marseille.

Trophy for French Startup Implantation in Tunisia: TOP

This startup, founded in 2021, has expanded its scope with an implantation in Tunisia since 2023. TOP stands out for its use of predictive artificial intelligence, enabling companies to accurately anticipate employee departures.

During the same evening, the CCITF honored numerous personalities, including the presidents who have succeeded each other at the head of the chamber since its creation on June 18, 1974.
