Carthage Cement Sees 47.8% Increase in Net Profit in First Half of 2024

During the first half of 2024, Carthage Cement recorded a 47.8% increase in its net profit, reaching 35.5 million Tunisian dinars (Mtnd).

The company's revenues experienced a slight growth of 2.1%, amounting to 213 million Tunisian dinars (Mtnd). Meanwhile, operating expenses decreased by 3.6%, totaling 159.8 Mtnd. This reduction in expenses is a positive sign of increased efficiency in cost management.

The operating result saw an increase of 16.8%, reaching 56.8 Mtnd. This growth highlights the continuous improvement in the company's operational performance. Furthermore, financial expenses decreased by 15.1%, dropping from 23.3 Mtnd to 19.8 Mtnd compared to June 2023. This reduction in financial expenses also contributed to the improvement in net profit.
