Visa Launches Fourth Edition of Africa Fintech Accelerator Program
The global payment card network Visa has launched applications for the fourth edition of its biannual Africa Fintech Accelerator program. This program provides startups with access to tools, industry connections, and mentorship to support the development of their innovative solutions.
Created in 2023 as part of Visa's commitment to invest $1 billion in financial inclusion in Africa by 2027, the Africa Fintech Accelerator has already supported 64 startups across three cohorts, with 15 active partnerships established to date.
Four startups that participated in the first edition in 2023 have recently benefited from strategic funding from Visa. The company has also announced the launch of the next edition of its accelerator for 2025.
Interested startups are invited to join a three-month initiative that provides mentorship, technological resources, and funding opportunities.
Applications are open until March 15.
