New Measure for Algerian Students Wishing to Study in France
For the 2024-2025 academic year, Algerian students seeking to study in France must comply with a new measure introduced by Campus France. Before submitting their long-stay visa application for studies, they must obtain and submit a document called "late arrival authorization" if their arrival is scheduled after the official start of the academic year.
According to a recent statement from Campus France, this document is now mandatory for all students whose arrival date exceeds the start of classes. They must transmit this authorization to their Campus France space before submitting their visa application to the French consulates in Algeria.
In other words, the late arrival authorization is only required if the arrival deadline is after September 30. If the deadline on their pre-registration is September 30 or earlier, the request for this document is not necessary.
