New Security Measure to Protect Human Lives, Property, and Natural Resources from Fire Risks
To protect human lives, property, and natural resources from fire risks, the Governor of Jendouba has announced a new security measure.
Referring to the note from the Regional Delegate for Agricultural Development dated May 31, 2024, it has been decided to ban camping and summer vacations in all forest and mountainous areas of the region.
This ban will take effect from June 1, 2024, and will remain in force until further notice. As the President of the Regional Committee for Disaster Prevention, Crisis Management, and Emergency Response, the Governor calls for everyone's cooperation to ensure security and preserve natural resources.
Local authorities will strictly enforce this measure. Any infringement will be severely sanctioned. Citizens are invited to comply with this decision to avoid any risk of fire, particularly during this summer period when high temperatures increase the dangers.
