On April 28, 2025, over 40 students from the International Maarif School of Tunisia were welcomed at BYD's premises to experience an immersive day centered around electric mobility, ecology, and entrepreneurial spirit.
An Educational Immersion in the Heart of Innovation
Upon arrival, the students dove into the world of BYD, a global pioneer in electric vehicles, discovering the clean technology behind the scenes: LFP batteries, zero emissions, embedded intelligence, and more.
Accompanied by the Graines d'Entrepreneurs team, they participated in stimulating workshops focused on current challenges:
How to reduce environmental impact?
What new sustainable services for tomorrow's cities?
How to innovate to protect the planet?
In small groups, the students prototyped their own ideas, which they presented at the end of the day. Concepts proposed included a solar-powered school bus, a carpooling app, and a network of micro-charging stations in neighborhoods.
A Symbolic Recognition for a Promising Generation
To conclude this rich day of learning and inspiration, BYD Tunisie awarded each student a medal and a participation certificate, honoring their creativity and commitment. They were officially designated as "BYD Next Generation Heroes," a symbolic distinction that acknowledges their role as ambassadors of a sustainable future.

"These young people have extraordinary ideas. We need to give them the tools to turn them into concrete solutions," declared Mariem Khouili, Marketing Manager at BYD Tunisie.
The students' enthusiasm was palpable. "I didn't know an electric car could be so technological! I'd like to create one myself later on," exclaimed Fatma, 13, amazed after her visit.
