Ministry of Agriculture Announces Credit Line for Cereal Producers
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries announced on Friday, September 20, the establishment of a credit line with the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS Bank) to support cereal producers during the 2024/2025 agricultural campaign.
Purpose of the Credit Line
The loans are specifically designed to facilitate the acquisition of necessary inputs for cereal production during the current season. They also cover the maintenance of equipment for seed sorting and treatment.
Application Process
The Ministry invites interested producers to submit their applications to the regional offices of BTS Bank, regional commissions for agricultural development, or local agricultural extension cells.
Objective of the Financing
The objective of this financing is to facilitate access to seasonal loans, either directly or through companies that farmers are affiliated with.
