Banking Products of Banque de Tunisie et des Emirats (BTE) Show Significant Growth

The banking products of Banque de Tunisie et des Emirats (BTE) have increased by 4,027 million dinars, representing a 5.6% growth compared to the previous year.

This growth is primarily driven by an increase in interest income of 4,433 million dinars (+9.2%), as well as an increase in commissions and revenue from the commercial and investment portfolio.

Financial charges have also increased, with a rise of 3,121 million dinars (+7.6%). As a result, the Net Banking Product (PNB) has progressed by 2.9%, reaching 31,989 million dinars.

The investment securities portfolio has experienced a significant increase of 20,008 million dinars, representing an 11.5% growth. Net credit outstandings have risen to 945,852 million dinars as of June 2024, an increase of 6.7% compared to the previous year.

This growth is mainly due to the increase in short, medium, and long-term loans granted to businesses.

Deposits have also increased by 85,802 million dinars, representing a 9.0% growth, from 949,128 million dinars as of June 2023 to 1034,930 million dinars as of June 2024.

Term deposits have grown by 41,346 million dinars (+8.5%), and certificates of deposit have increased from 89.5 to 143.5 million dinars. Savings deposits have reached 180,619 million dinars.
