London Tops the Brand Finance Global City Index for the Second Consecutive Year
London has once again taken the top spot in the Brand Finance Global City Index, with a score of 90.9 out of 100.
This study is the most comprehensive global survey of city perceptions, gathering opinions from over 15,000 respondents across 20 nations.
New York, with a score of 89.8/100, and Paris, with a score of 87.8/100, maintain their second and third positions, respectively.
Tokyo and Dubai have risen to 4th and 5th positions, respectively, driven by an improvement in their reputation perception.
Notably, Dubai has entered the top 5 and become the highest-ranking Arab city in the index.
Other Arab cities occupy much lower positions. Cairo ranks 63rd with a score of 65.9, followed by Doha in 69th position with a score of 63.9. Casablanca places 73rd with a score of 60.8, while Riyadh occupies the 75th position with a score of 59.2.
European cities dominate the "Culture and Heritage" pillar, occupying 17 of the top 20 spots. Paris, Rome, London, Vienna, and Milan take the top 5 spots in the "Culture and Heritage" pillar.
