Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program 2025-2026: Applications Now Open
Applications for the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program 2025-2026 are now open until December 4, 2024, at 5:00 PM Tunis time.
This initiative, offered by the United States Embassy in Tunisia, provides Tunisian undergraduate students with the opportunity to spend a non-degree academic year in the United States, offering academic, professional, and leadership development immersion.
The program targets Tunisian students enrolled in a university or institute in Tunisia, aged 18 or older, with sufficient English language proficiency. They must demonstrate a commitment to contributing to Tunisia's development upon their return, following J-1 visa regulations.
Selected based on merit, candidates will be evaluated on their academic excellence, leadership potential, and community engagement. The application must be completed online, including two letters of reference. Only complete applications will be considered.
