Stock Market Opens on a Positive Note
The stock market started the week on a positive trend. The reference index rose by 0.22%, reaching 10,650.63 points, with a modest volume of 2.7 million dinars, according to Tunisie Valeurs, a stock exchange intermediary.
OfficePlast Leads the Gains
OfficePlast recorded the best performance of the session. With almost no trading volume, the office and school supplies manufacturer's stock gained 3.9%, closing at 1,610 TND. SPDIT also featured among the top gainers, with a 3.3% increase to 13,200 TND, with a trading volume of 42,000 dinars.
Astree and ATL Decline
On the other hand, Astree ended the session in decline, occupying the last spot on the Tunindex. The insurer's stock fell by 2.2% to 45 TND, with a low trading volume of 5,000 dinars. Similarly, ATL's stock dropped by 1.7%, settling at 4,700 TND, with a trading volume of 19,000 dinars.
Attijari Bank Leads Trading Volume
Finally, Attijari Bank stood out as the most traded stock of the session. Despite a 1.5% decline to 68 TND, the stock generated 413,000 dinars in capital.
