Green Financing: A New Opportunity for Eco-Friendly Projects
The Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Finance have reached a significant milestone: a dedicated financing line for green projects is now officially open. An envelope of 20 million dinars is available for green projects, offering a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and businesses to develop sustainable initiatives.
What Does This Mean in Concrete Terms?
A loan with a reasonable interest rate, repayable over a period of up to 10 years, with a 3-year grace period before starting to repay the capital. This allows you to launch your project, see it grow, and start generating revenue before repaying the loan. The maximum amount available is 500,000 dinars per company, making it possible to seriously finance an ambitious project.
Who is Eligible?
This financing line is designed for:
- Young entrepreneurs who want to start a business but may not have the necessary financial backing to approach a bank on their own
- Small or large companies, including SARLs and civil societies, that want to pivot towards more responsible and sustainable practices
- Anyone who has understood that the future is green, blue, or circular
