Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani Chairs Ministerial Council to Discuss Tunisia's Trade Policies with the World Trade Organization (WTO)
On May 28, 2024, Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani presided over a ministerial council to discuss Tunisia's trade policies with the World Trade Organization (WTO).
He recalled that Tunisia is a founding member of the WTO, established in 1995, and that this institution plays a crucial role in facilitating commercial exchanges and improving the investment climate.
Tunisia has already presented its trade policies to the WTO in 1995, 2005, and 2016, and is preparing to do so for the fourth time soon. This presentation is seen as an opportunity to promote a positive image of Tunisia, highlighting economic transparency and recent reforms.
