BH Bank's Profits Down 22% in 2024, Reaching 31.5 Billion TND
BH Bank's profits have recorded a 22% decline by the end of 2024, standing at 31.5 billion TND. As a result, the bank's net income has settled at 108.5 billion TND as of December 31, 2024, compared to 140 billion TND the previous year, according to the activity indicators published by the institution.
The BH Bank specified that its Board of Directors, which met on March 27, 2025, has approved the financial statements for the 2024 fiscal year. These statements have been transmitted to the auditors, while the company's activity report for 2024 has also been examined.
The financial statements, published on the website of the Financial Market Council (CMF), confirm that the bank is closing the 2024 fiscal year with a net income of 108.511 billion TND, compared to 140 billion TND at the end of 2023.
Furthermore, the Board of Directors has decided to convene an Ordinary General Assembly on Saturday, April 26, 2025. It will propose the distribution of a dividend of 0.800 TND per share, subject to the prior approval of the Central Bank of Tunisia.
According to the activity indicators as of December 31, 2024, BH Bank's Net Banking Product (PNB) has reached 766 billion TND. The outstanding loans to customers have progressed by 5.1%, reaching 10,731 billion TND, while customer deposits have risen to 9,010 billion TND.
The commissions received by the bank have increased by 15.4 billion TND, representing a 10.6% growth, to reach 160.1 billion TND by the end of 2024. Personnel-related expenses have seen a 7.3% increase, totaling 189.3 billion TND.
Finally, special loans and resources have progressed by 14.6%, reaching 1,565 billion TND, while banking operating products have increased by 5.9%, standing at 1,100.9 billion TND at the close of the 2024 fiscal year, compared to 1,039.6 billion TND in 2023.
