European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Supports Tunisian SMEs
In an interview on Mosaïque FM's Midi Eco program, Zakaria Louati, National Director of the "Support for SMEs" program, discussed the financial and technical support provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to Tunisian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
He explained that this support translates into credits and technical assistance, enabling SMEs to improve their competitiveness at both local and international levels.
This support concerns various economic sectors, including industry, commerce, and agriculture. Thanks to these measures, 1800 Tunisian enterprises have been able to increase their turnover by 50% and generate new jobs. Some of them have even succeeded in exporting their products to Western markets, including the United States.
