Tunisia's Treasury Bond Holdings Reach 30.13 Billion Dinars by July 31, 2025
As of July 31, 2025, the total outstanding amount of treasury bonds stood at 30.13 billion dinars, marking a 12.76% increase compared to the 26.72 billion dinars recorded a year earlier, according to the latest figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
Breakdown of Treasury Bond Holdings
The short-term treasury bonds (BTC) experienced a significant decline, dropping from 10.53 billion dinars to 3.66 billion dinars, representing a 65.24% decrease.
On the other hand, the Assimilable Treasury Bonds (BTA) saw a substantial increase, with an outstanding amount of 26.47 billion dinars compared to 16.19 billion dinars the previous year, representing a 63.50% growth.
