The Banking and Financial Council (CBF) Launches Initiative for Inclusive Instant Payment Systems

Today, July 23, the Banking and Financial Council (CBF) announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at developing inclusive instant payment systems.

This initiative will be carried out in collaboration with the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

It is worth noting that the CBF is an organization that regulates and supervises banking and financial activities to ensure the stability and security of the financial sector.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, on the other hand, is a private philanthropic organization founded by Bill and Melinda Gates. It strives to improve living conditions for populations around the world, particularly by supporting initiatives in health, education, and economic development.

The CBF also indicated that it received a delegation from the AMF on Monday, July 22, as part of the council of governors of Arab central banks. This visit to Tunis aims to strengthen regional cooperation and discuss advances and challenges in the Arab financial sector.
