Banque Zitouna Announces the Appointment of Mounir Fakhet as New General Manager
The Board of Directors of Banque Zitouna, meeting today, announces the appointment of Mounir Fakhet as the new General Manager of the Bank. With 35 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, Mounir Fakhet brings to the bank a solid and diversified expertise.
His professional career illustrates an involvement at various levels of responsibility, from BNDT to STB, before joining Banque Zitouna in 2010, where he held the positions of Risk Management Director and Secretary General. Fakhet holds a Master's degree in Higher Commercial Studies from IHEC Carthage, a Professional Master's degree in Banking Studies from the Technical Institute of Banking at the Conservatoire National des Arts & Métiers in Paris, and a Master's degree in "Risk Management" from the Higher Institute of Management in Tunis, in association with APBEF.
Before his recent appointment, Mounir Fakhet occupied the position of General Manager of several subsidiaries of the group, including Zitouna Capital, Zitouna Finance, and Excellia. He also serves as an administrator in several financial and industrial companies.
With the appointment of Mounir Fakhet, the bank enters a new phase, with the aim of consolidating its position in the market under his direction and leadership.
