Tunisia Ranks 6th in Middle East and North Africa's Largest Recipients of Funds in 2023
According to recent data from the World Bank, Tunisia has secured the 6th position in the ranking of the largest recipients of funds in the Middle East and North Africa in 2023.
The ranking is as follows:
- Egypt ($19.5 billion)
- Morocco ($11.8 billion)
- Lebanon ($6.7 billion)
- Jordan ($4.5 billion)
- Palestine ($3.6 billion)
- Tunisia ($2.7 billion)
- Algeria ($1.9 billion)
- Iraq ($900 million)
The flow of funds to the MENA region decreased by 15% to reach $55 billion in 2023. However, the flow of funds to the region is expected to increase by 4.3% in 2024.
